Jan Hall

Jan was born the third of eleven brothers and sisters, received twelve years of Catholic education in Yakima, Washington, moved to Alaska to seek her fortune, and managed to find the love of her life during that adventure.

She moved to Moscow in 1973 with her husband and son, and two daughters were born within the next 5 years. Jan joined St. Mary’s Parish, served six years at St. Mary's Catholic School as a teacher's aide and then became office manager for St. Mary's parish in 1993. “I love my present job because I’m in the front row seat to observe the goodness of God through the actions of the people of St. Mary’s Parish. We have lots of pretty amazing members who share their time, talent and treasure in very quiet, unassuming, and sometimes heroic ways.”

Jan has been active in St. Mary's Women's League serving as secretary, vice president and president, ran the Moscow Food Bank for one year and served on the League wedding committee for over 15 years. She’s been records manager for the St. Mary's School Foundation since 1995 and has served as a Eucharistic minister and sacristan since forever.

Her favorite music is 'anything by John Michael Talbot', enjoys reading and drinking coffee at Tesoro’s with her friends. The most important things in her life are faith, family and friends.
